Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use MarketMee.
  • Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.

The service

MarketMee turns your product updates into social media posts, images and videos, and publishes them to the accounts you connect, either when you approve them or automatically on the schedule you set. We are always improving MarketMee, so features may change, and we may add or remove features over time. If we remove something that is a core part of a paid plan, we will tell you ahead of time.

Connected accounts and third-party services

When you connect a social account (such as LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Threads or Pinterest) or GitHub, you authorize MarketMee to access it and to publish to it on your behalf, within the permissions you grant. We connect and publish to social platforms through our partner Post For Me.

You must follow the terms and rules of every platform you connect. If you connect YouTube, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Those platforms are run by other companies, and we are not responsible for their outages, API changes, rate limits or decisions, including removing your content or suspending your accounts. If a platform changes or limits what we can do, some features may stop working for that platform.

Your content and AI output

You keep ownership of everything you bring to MarketMee, including your brand materials, uploads and repositories. As between you and MarketMee, you also own the posts, images and videos MarketMee generates for you, to the extent the law allows.

You give us permission to store, process, adapt and publish your content only as needed to run MarketMee for you, including sending it to the AI providers and partners listed in our Privacy Policy.

AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to content created for others. You are responsible for reviewing what MarketMee creates and for everything published from your accounts, including posts published automatically by autopilot or on a schedule. Make sure your content is accurate and that you have the rights to everything in it.

GitHub repositories

If you connect GitHub, we read the repositories you choose, such as commit messages and code changes, only to understand what you shipped and create content about it. We do not claim any rights in your code, and we do not use it for any other purpose. You can disconnect GitHub at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MarketMee to:

  • Post anything illegal, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, hateful or harassing, or anything that violates the rules of the platform it is posted to.
  • Send spam, impersonate others, or mislead people about who is behind a post.
  • Upload malware, or try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to MarketMee or the accounts of others.
  • Get around usage limits or token charges, or resell MarketMee without our permission.
  • Copy, scrape or reverse engineer MarketMee, or use it to build a competing product.

Plans, billing and tokens

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period.
  • Generating content uses tokens, and using tokens (including top-up tokens) requires an active paid plan. Your plan’s monthly tokens reset at the start of each billing period, and unused monthly tokens do not carry over.
  • Top-up tokens you buy separately do not expire while your account is open. Tokens have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
  • Auto top-up: if you turn it on, we charge your saved payment method for the top-up pack you choose whenever your token balance falls below the threshold you set. If a charge fails or you have no saved payment method, we turn auto top-up off until you turn it back on. You can turn auto top-up off at any time in billing settings.
  • Prices may be subject to applicable taxes. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before the change applies, and it will take effect at your next renewal.

Cancellation and refunds

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from billing settings. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and then does not renew.

Payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and for unused tokens, except where the law requires a refund. If you think you were charged in error, contact us and we will look into it.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using MarketMee at any time, and you can delete your account at any time from settings, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your use puts MarketMee, other users or a connected platform at risk, or if the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. When an account is closed, any remaining tokens are forfeited.

Disclaimers

MarketMee is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that MarketMee will be uninterrupted or error-free, that generated content will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose, or that posts will be published or perform in any particular way.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, MarketMee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to MarketMee is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Indemnification

If someone brings a claim against MarketMee because of content you published through MarketMee or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using MarketMee after that, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel your plan and stop using MarketMee.

General

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and MarketMee about the service. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these terms right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer these terms to anyone else without our permission; we may transfer them if MarketMee is sold or reorganized.
